After getting home from the AC'12 trip, I took the motor apart to see the damage. I was lucky. Only the terminals were burned.
I had to get factory parts to repair the motor. On the left is a replacement terminal. On the right is the destroyed terminal.
The motor is repaired and put back together. It is ready to go back in Electro-Willys. I left the scorch marks to remind me of what had happened.
