After pulling the f-head engine that was in here, we are almost ready to take it the conversion shop. The steering and brake system needed almost no work at all. Everything here was cleaned up and repainted prior to the conversion.
Here is the 'home-built' replacement for the damaged body edge and missing tailgate tab. I'm still fairly new at rebuilding body parts, so this whole piece was a little rough.
I couldn't get all of the dents out of the body, so there are a few places like this corner of the cowl where I used bond-o to bring the sheet steel back to it's original shape. This came out looking pretty good if you don't look too close.
