  • The Blue Mule got a new horn this spring. Mike also painted many of the accent pieces black, such as the hood bumpers, the shovel, the footman loops, and the hood latches.
  • Our first trip was up Bald Mountain Gulch and across the western side of Aspen ridge. It was a great day for the first part of June.
  • Jen, Mike, and Ellen had a fun camping trip in late June. We took the old army tent and the Blue Mule up to Chubb Park. We encountered elk, old cabins, a very large downed tree, and even a spring that came right out of the base of a tree.
  • In mid September, the Thirsty Dirt Ranch hosted the 2013 CFFC Fall Color Tour. What a week! That Blue Mule took the bunch on 6 jeep trips, including Mt. Antero, Mt. Princeton, and South Cottonwood Creek. The highlight, of course is the Aspen Ridge trip.
  • The final trip of the year was over Aspen Ridge in the first of October with the Pat, and Jack and Barb with their old jeep. The aspen were at their height.
  • While the weather held, The Blue Mule's trailer got some attention. First came redoing the cover with rubberized paint.
