Terry is the rancher who has owned this jeep since 1968.
For almost 30 years, it was used primarily for ranch chores. Note the snowplow lift frame behind the front bumper.
For the last 10 plus years, it has just been parked on a hilltop behind the ranch.
On first inspection, the engine looked complete, but very dirty. But wait, there's more...
If you look really close, you will see a wood rat's nest in the radiator!
The steel cab was made by Koenig Ironworks from Texas. Both front doors are kind of rough and don't seal very well.
I was pleased to see that it still had the original tailgate chains, trailer hitch, and stock single taillight.
The hinges for both the cab and tailgate still work well. Opening them revealed the blue carpet, minor rust, and major mouse turds.
