- Problem: During rough road operation, fuel would splash out of the vent hole, and down the throat of the carburetor, making the engine run rough.
- Solution: The tubing is fitted into the carburetor bowl vent. It takes the liquid fuel that could splash out of that vent, and directs it away from the carburetor throat. As a result, the carburetor operation on rough roads or steep hills, works much better.
